The technical evolution of the bike industry is transforming the work of workshops in these years. The increasing spread of eBikes, together with the development of heavier models and components that require increasingly precise adjustments, brings with it new needs in terms of maintenance and repair equipment. It is in this scenario that the proposal of Feedback Sports, a US company specialized in repair stands, precision tools, and storage solutions for bikes fits. The brand, which now offers over 70 products and is present in more than 50 countries, aims to strengthen its presence in the Italian market, where distribution is entrusted to Beltrami TSA.
From Colorado to the specialized workshop
Founded in 2004 in Colorado by Doug and Lisa Hudson, Feedback Sports debuted with a digital bike scale. In 2008, the company expanded its business with a range of repair and storage stands, while in 2016 tools, compact kits, and training solutions arrived. Over the years, the catalog has progressively focused on the needs of mechanics and cyclists looking for specific tools for maintenance and repair. Durability, ease of maintenance, and choice of materials based on different applications are some of the elements on which the brand claims to base the development of its products.
Pro E Lift: the stand for heavier bikes
Among the solutions that best interpret this evolution is the Pro E Lift, a repair stand with an electric motor lifting system designed to facilitate the handling of heavy bikes, including eBikes. The system can support models up to 45 kg and allows adjusting the working height from 908 to 1,854 mm. The pedal control allows lifting and lowering operations while keeping the mechanic’s hands free, while a collision detection system intervenes during descent. The clamp can rotate 360° and integrates the Speed Ratchet system by Feedback Sports, designed to make bike fastening and releasing operations quicker. The Pro E Lift is available in Italy through Beltrami TSA with a recommended price of 1,350 euros. Although the product is also aimed at amateur users, its features and load capacity allow it to be used in a professional workshop as well.
A range dedicated to repair and maintenance
The Feedback Sports offer also includes other solutions aimed at workshop needs. Among these is the Pro Mechanic Heavy Duty, a portable stand designed for bicycles up to 45.5 kg and particularly suitable for eBikes and cargo bikes. On the tools front, the Pro Range Click Torque Wrench is a torque wrench with an adjustment range from 2 to 14 Nm, while for storage, the Rakk 2.0 E is designed for bikes up to 34 kg and integrates a dedicated space for the charger and magnetic fastenings for cable management. Completing the offer is the Team Edition Tool Kit, a portable kit consisting of 20 tools developed to cover various maintenance operations. A solution designed for mechanics who need to transport their equipment.
The professional world as a testing ground
The relationship with the professional world is another element of the brand’s strategy. According to Feedback Sports, its tools and stands are used by mechanics and teams involved in international competitions in various disciplines. Among the entities included in the sponsorship program are Alpecin-Deceuninck, Soudal Quick-Step, Lidl-Trek, Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe, and Specialized, as well as various competitive structures linked to mountain biking. For the Italian market, the availability of the range expands the possibilities for workshops that find themselves working on increasingly diversified bikes in terms of weight, size, and technological content. The evolution of workshop equipment follows, in this sense, that of the bicycle: new systems, new uses, and new configurations require tools capable of supporting the professional in daily maintenance and repair operations.
